Gamescom

A short summary of the Gamescom 2019 which I have visited at least for three days this year. It is only a short summary because I do not have more to share…

At the end of August it was again time to visit the Gamescom in Cologne, the biggest consumer-oriented trade fair for computer and console games in Europe. Like already in the last five years I did not miss the chance to play a few games, meet some people and “survive” the days in Cologne with thousands of nerds – but at the end with mixed feelings…

In August it was finally again Gamescom time – for the sixth time in row. Equipped with everything, especially with my press ticket, I visited the trade fair at all five days, again with a lot of surprises…

In mid of August it was Gamescom time again and looking back to the last two years, I did not know what to expect from this year’s show, so I made no big plans, but just see what happens. At the end the trade fair turned out to include some exciting discoveries in the virtual reality and indie genre, very special glasses and very nice evenings…

Time to look back on the five days visiting the Gamescom trade fair. I am still wondering if anyone except the exhibitors and YouTubers really spend so much time there ^^
